Care & Use

Caring for your stoneware

Fresh fruit served in ceramic bowls on a warm wooden table

How the self-spinning works

Hold the bowl under a running tap. The contoured interior turns the water into a gentle 360° swirl that circulates your fruit and rinses it from every angle — no motor, no batteries, no scrubbing.

Cleaning

Rinse it under the tap, or place it on the top rack of your dishwasher. Because it's lead-free fired ceramic, it won't stain or hold odors the way plastic does.

Everyday use

Best for delicate berries — strawberries, raspberries, blueberries — plus grapes, cherries, and small vegetables. Once your fruit is clean, serve straight from the same bowl.

About the glaze

The reactive glaze varies from piece to piece, so the exact colours and pattern of your bowl will differ slightly from the photos. That variation is the mark of real stoneware — every piece tells its own story.

A few good habits

  • Avoid sudden extreme temperature changes (don't take it from the freezer straight to a hot oven).
  • Ceramic is durable but not indestructible — a hard knock on a stone counter can chip the rim.
