Our Story
Made for people who'd rather not buy plastic.

Stoneward started with a small frustration: every fruit washer and colander on the shelf was flimsy plastic that cracked, stained, and ended up in the bin. We wanted the opposite — a piece made of something honest, that you'd keep for years and actually want to leave out on the counter.
So we went to fired stoneware. It's just clay and minerals, taken to a high temperature until it's hard, food-safe, and lead-free. Nothing leaches into your food. It doesn't hold odors. And because every piece is finished in a reactive glaze that pools and shifts as it fires, no two come out of the kiln exactly the same — the one that arrives is yours alone.

Our first piece, the Vortex Berry Bowl, does three jobs in one: hold it under the tap and a slow swirl rinses your berries hands-free, the built-in drainage lets the water run clear, and then it becomes the bowl you serve from. Wash, drain, serve — and nothing throwaway about it.
That's the whole idea behind Stoneward: natural materials, made to last, quietly beautiful.
