A long, narrow sushi plate built for food that looks best lined up in a row. Nigiri, dumplings, a few skewers, a handful of small bites. The dark reactive glaze stays quiet so the food stands out, and the slim shape leaves room for the rest of the table.

What it's for

  • Sushi and sashimi, the way a row of nigiri or maki is meant to sit.
  • Dumplings, gyoza, spring rolls and dim sum.
  • Skewers, satay and other long bites that want a long plate.
  • Bread, cheese, crackers, dessert and appetizers once sushi night is over.

Fired stoneware, not plastic

This is fired stoneware, a solid piece meant to be used at the table and built to last. It is long and slim, narrow enough to sit on a crowded table or a narrow serving board, with room to hold a row of nigiri or a line of dumplings.

Reactive glaze, no two alike

The dark reactive glaze pools and shifts in the kiln, so color and pattern vary from piece to piece. That is the point. The plate you get is its own thing, with ink-dark, mocha and twilight tones that make colorful food pop. Five finishes: Blue Rhyme, Late Twilight, Mocha, Twilight and Kiln Black.

Care

  • Hand wash to protect the reactive glaze.
  • Avoid sudden temperature swings, like moving the plate straight from very hot to very cold.

Good to know

When will my order arrive?

Every piece ships with tracking — estimated delivery 10–20 days. You'll get a tracking link by email the moment it's on its way.

Will mine look exactly like the photos?

The shape is consistent, but the reactive glaze pools and shifts in the kiln — so colour and pattern vary piece to piece. Yours will be one of a kind.

How do I care for it?

Hand washing is best — it protects the reactive glaze over time. Warm water and a soft cloth are all it needs; avoid sudden temperature shocks (very hot to very cold).

What is it made of?

Fired stoneware and ceramic with a reactive glaze — never plastic. Substantial in the hand and built to stay on your table for years.

What if it isn't right?

If your piece arrives damaged or faulty, email hi@stoneward.store with a photo within 30 days and we'll make it right — a replacement or a refund.
