The finish is a soft, speckled reactive glaze, so no two bowls come out exactly alike. The color settles differently in the kiln. The speckling shifts from piece to piece, and the glaze breaks over the ribs in its own way each time. That variation is not a flaw, so the one you get will look a little different from the photo.
