Twill Plate

A round stoneware dinner plate with a twill texture pressed across the face. The ridges run in different directions and catch the light, so the surface shifts as you move around the table. The rim has a soft scalloped edge, and the speckled reactive glaze comes in a sage green or a warm cream. It has enough weight to feel solid under a full meal and enough character to leave out on the counter between courses.

Reactive glaze keeps changing as it melts in the kiln, so every plate settles a little differently. Yours will not match the photos exactly, and it will not match anyone else's. That is how this glaze works.

Care

Hand washing is best and helps protect the reactive glaze over time. Use warm water and a soft cloth, and avoid sudden temperature swings so the stoneware does not get shocked.

Ships free within the US with tracking. These pieces come from overseas, so plan for about 10 to 20 days to arrive. If your plate turns up damaged or faulty, send a photo to hi@stoneward.store within 30 days of arrival and we will replace or refund it.
